Graduate Student Treatment Planning Session
We are happy to announce that the ICP will once again incorporate a Graduate Student Treatment Planning Session. The objective is to provide a forum for prosthodontic graduate students and young prosthodontic educators from different countries to interrelate in the form of a treatment planning seminar session. This will consist of 15 minute presentations of case specific treatment plans, treatment sequence and outcomes followed by 10 -15 minutes of discussion for each presentation. The emphasis will be on the decision making process involved in arriving at a diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan taking into account the best available evidence.
Graduate students or students graduated in the last 3 years are invited to submit proposals for presentation. Submit your abstract by linking to Call for Papers. Applicants will be selected based on content of abstract and information regarding required format will be forwarded to selected applicants. Cases to be presented will be selected for their interest and geographic location in order to provide a wide spectrum of approaches and discussion base for the participants.
We are strongly conscious of the fact that the future of Prosthodontics as a specialty lies in the hands of young graduate students and prosthodontic educators whose enthusiasm and sense of involvement will carry the specialty forward in the future. We are confident that the treatment planning session this will provide an additional forum for the interrelation and interaction of the future opinion leaders of our specialty.
